Reports to Excel
Choose reports and run them. Their tables go to the tenant's Excel workbook, where you can filter and export them.
Client reporting
Build a branded Word report and Excel workbook for each tenant from a template you create once.
Choose reports and run them. Their tables go to the tenant's Excel workbook, where you can filter and export them.
Scorecard reports rate what they find as OK, Warning or Critical against thresholds you set, each with a section in the client's document.
Build documents creates a Word document and Excel workbook for each tenant, using its template and your brand with the client's name and logo.
Create an optional summary, such as an executive summary, using an AI service you choose. It stays off until you set it up.
How it works
Select a client or several. Their documents are built in sequence.
Each client can have its own.
Now, or on a schedule with Windows Task Scheduler.
Select the reports, then Run. As each report finishes, its tables show with a row count and a status.
| Status | Means |
|---|---|
| Done | The table was read in full, and a table that flags rows shows their counts instead, such as 2 critical, 1 warning |
| Partial | Some items couldn't be read, and the workbook's Not read sheet lists them |
| Not read | The table couldn't be read, and the status says why |
| Failed or Stopped | The report didn't finish |
Each scorecard report covers an area, rates what it finds and has its own section in the client's Word document. Scorecard reports need certificate sign-in.
Tick the tenants, then Build. Each tenant gets a Word document and an Excel workbook, from the template it uses.
The Contents page sets what each scorecard report reads, and where its tables go.
| Setting | Sets |
|---|---|
| Mode | Full, Summary or Off for each scorecard report, where Summary gives the summary tables and scorecard counts without the slow per-device exports, and Full adds the detail tables |
| Summary only | Runs every Full report as Summary, for a quicker run, and leaves each report's mode as it is |
| Written to | Where each table goes: Word and workbook, Workbook only or Left out |
| Word Rows | The most rows a table shows in Word |
| Warning at and Critical at | The thresholds the scorecard rates each table against |
A template sets what each tenant's Word document holds and how it looks. Build it once from blocks, with the document's pages drawn beside them as you edit.
Drag blocks into the document, and set each one in Settings. Pages draws the document from a made-up sample as you edit, and Open sample in Word writes a sample with made-up results and opens it.
A cover with the title, client and date in 1 of several looks, or 1 you lay out yourself with Design the front page.
Text takes tokens and figures, as plain text, a callout or a card. Manual evidence is a heading and a highlighted note to complete in Word.
If a report wasn't run, its block is left empty or says so. Headings with no content are omitted, so the same template can suit tenants with different reports.
Set your brand in the template. Each tenant can have its own template, client name and logo.
{Report} where it goes. Or take the styles, cover, header and footer from a Word file you've made.{ClientName}, {ReportDate} and {PreparedBy} fill in each tenant's details. Figure tokens put the tenant's own numbers in a sentence or a key figure, such as {Figure: Secure Score | Percentage} or {Count: Critical}.An AI summary block writes a short summary of the tenant's results into its Word document, with an AI service you choose.
